Tidy Tower

so neat, so tidy and thats just the way I like it. The top cake was a very precise gooseberry colour with regimental dots, purple ribbon to match the cases and colour dots on top of a bright white buttercream.

Here’s a detail of the pretty top cake…..

All in place with the pretty filigree wrappers which finish it off so perfectly.

This is what happens when two cakes styles collide, my Dotty cake meets the Explosion cake. This little 6″ chocolate cake is a gift for a friend and all began with a box of Quality Street and the fact that everything can become a cake when you are obsessed! My children were happy though as they got to eat any chocs that didn’t have the right coloured wrappers.
